What is MoveCon?

What is MoveCon?

MoveCon is a weekend-long, in-person immersion designed to awaken your body, stir creativity, and reconnect you to what it means to move—freely, fully, and in community. The convergence features sessions and workshops from 10 of Colorado's most prolific somatic facilitators: from a vast range of backgrounds and approaches to movement.

It’s a sampler platter of brilliance: each facilitator leads one class, offering you a diverse, masterful, and embodied experience across a wide spectrum of movement disciplines and philosophies.

This is more than a weekend workshop.
It's not about mastering a "style".
It is about meeting your body—and others

—in surprising, honest, and enlivening ways.

Who is it for?

You’ll Love this weekend if…

  • You have an existing movement practice, and are curious for more—open to exploring beyond your usual flow.

  • You’re a facilitator, guide, or coach who wants to expand your toolkit and re-inspire your craft.

  • You crave play, depth, and somatic diversity, and are ready to sweat for it!

Whether you’re months or decades into movement, this is a space for novelty, growth, and inspiration—in a grounded, welcoming container.

Each session of the weekend is a one-off offering from a different masterful teacher—handpicked not for their Instagram followers, but for their embodied depth and facilitation brilliance.

Expect:

  • Movement practices from a variety of lineages—dance, somatics, martial arts, improvisation, etc

  • Fresh ideas and frameworks to take home, integrate, & remix into your own practice

  • A welcoming space to breathe, feel, laugh, collaborate, and be moved

Whether you’re flying in or joining us locally, MoveCon offers an intentional container where improvisation and time-tested practices converge — where every beat becomes an invitation to connect, play, and grow.

I'm not a "dancer" can I still attend?

Aren't we all dancers? … But in case you are still wondering: although there are many dance-informed sessions and facilitators at MoveCon, it is not an event curated for professional or pre-professional dancers.

In-fact, we Love having movement practitioners from a diverse set of backgrounds in the room to share and co-inspire! Diversity is our greatest strength!
